This view is from just east of General Buford's monument on Chambersburg Pike (US 30), facing east towards Oak Ridge. The observation tower on Doubleday Avenue can be seen just to tleft of the end of the treeline. A line of monuments marks Reynolds Avenue just in front of the treeline, with the monument to General Wadsworth visibe about a quarter of the way from the right of the photo. The line of srubbery and small trees running entirely across the middle of the photo sjhows the edge of the railroad tracks, with two of the Railroad Cuts at each edge of the photo.
