3rd Massachusetts Cavalry Regiment

 

The 3rd Massachusetts Cavalry Regiment lost 5 officers and 101 enlisted men killed or mortally wounded and 2 officers and 180 enlisted men to disease during the Civil War. The regiment is honored by a monument in the National Cemetery in Winchester, Virginia.
