April 24	Organized at Philadelphia and mustered in at Washington Square, Philadelphia, Pa. under Colonel William D. Lewis, Jr., Lieutenant Colonel Charles Wilhelm and Major Alexander Niebold
May 14	Moved via Perryville to Baltimore, Md., with duty near Fort McHenry
May 22	At Federal Hill in Baltimore
June 12 - July 23	Companies B and K under Captain Peter Fritz at the National Arsenal at Pikesville removing stores to Fort McHenry
July 24	Companies B, C, D, E, G, H and K and part of I reenlisted for ten days at the request of General Banks.
July 29	Relieved by the 5th New York Infantry and moved to Philadelphia
August 6	Mustered out. Sergeant Major Charles H. T. Collis went on to become colonel of the 114th Pennsylvania Infantry and a brevet major general, earning the Medal of Honor.
