The regiment lost 38 men.

Battle of South Mountain

The regiment lost 2 men. Lieutenant W.T. Field commanded the regiment as senior officer.

Battle of Sharpsburg (Antietam)

The regiment lost 65 men.

November 11 The battalion was consolidated into two companies and attached to the infantry companies of Hampton’s Legion.
