April 24 Organized at Camp Curtin, Harrisburg for three months service under Colonel Henry C. Longnecker, Lieutenant Colonel William H. R. Hangen and Major Charles Glantz
May 4 Moved by rail to Camp Wayne, West Chester
May 26 Moved by rail to Hare’s Corners, Delaware and duty there
June 6-7 Moved to Chambersburg, Pa. via rail on the Northern Central and Cumberland Valley Railroads. Attached to 4th Brigade, 1st Division, Patterson’s Army
June 13-16 Advance to the Potomac near Williamsport.
June 17 Colonel Longnecker took command of the 4th Brigade when Colonel Miles was ordered to Washington.
July 1 Crossed the Potomac at Lemon’s Ferry and camped that evening near Hainesville, Virginia.
July 2 Falling Waters
July 3 Marched via the Williamsport Turnpike to Martinsburg, Virginia.
July 15 Advance to Bunker Hill
July 17-21 At Charlestown, then to Harpers Ferry
