Commanded by First Lieutenant Henry Brewerton, the battery brought six 3″ Ordnance Rifles to the field. The battery was positioned behind Thoburn’s Division east of the Valley Pike. When Thonburn’s defensive line collapsed the battery fired canister into the attackers until they were twenty-five yeard away, then withdrew the guns to the limbers at the bottom of the ridge, losing one, which was spiked.
