April 25	Organized from men of Monroe and Greenbriar Counties under the command of Captain Thomas A. Bryan.
May	Assigned to the Artillery, District of Lewisburg, Department of Southwestern Virginia, also known as the Army of New River
September	Kanawha Campaign Assigned to Artillery Battalion, Deprtment of Western Virginia.
September 10	Fayetteville
September 13	Charleston
1863
April	Assigned to McCausland’s Brigade, Deprtment of Western Virginia.
May	Assigned to Artillery Battalion, Deprtment of Western Virginia.
August 26	The battery was equipped with two 3-inch Rifles, one 12-pounder Howitzer and one 24-pounder Howitzer.
October	Assigned to Artillery Battalion, Ransom’s Division, Deprtment of Western Virginia and ast Tennessee.
November	Knoxville Campaign
1864
February	Assigned to King’s Battalion, Artillery, Department of East Tennessee
May	Assigned to Artillery Battalion, Department of Southwestern Virginia.
May 9	Battle of Cloyd’s Mountain
May 15	Battle of New Market
June	Assigned to King’s Battalion, Artillery, Army of the Valley.
July 9	Battle of Monocacy
September 9	Third Battle of Winchester
September 22	Battle of Fisher’s Hill
October 19	Battle of Cedar Creek

March	Siege of Petersburg
March 17	Ordered to turn over its equipment to other batteries and report to Richmond, where personnel were assigned to other units.
