Texas Regiments


Confederate Regiments & Batteries


Texas was the most distant part of the Confederacy from the Eastern Theater, and for the last half of the war had no direct communications with the eastern half of the country. But three infantry regiments came east and won renown all out of proportion to their numbers as Hood’s Texas Brigade.
