April 13-20 Organized for 90 days service at Camp Curtin in Harrisburg. it was under the command of Colonel Samuel Yohe, the owner of a local distillery, mill and store, Lieutenant Colonel Tilghman H. Good and Major Thomas W. Lynn.

  • Company G:  Reading, Berks County – Captain George Warren Alexander
  • Company H: Easton, Northampton County – Captain Ferdinand W. Bell
  • Company I: Allentown, Lehigh County – Captain William H. Gausler
  • Company K: Lancaster, Lancaster County – Captain Henry A. Hambright
April 20 Moved to Cockeysville on Northern Central Railroad to Camp Scott, near York, Pa., and duty there under the command of Brigadier General Wynkoop
May 14-25 Guarded Northern Central Railroad, near Baltimore in the Department of Annapolis.
May 25-June 3 Relieved by 12th Pennsylvania Infantry and sent to guard Harper’s Ferry Road
May 25 Moved to Catonsville, Md.
May 29 To Franklintown
June 3 To Chambersburg, Pa. Attached to 2nd Brigade, 2nd Division, Patterson’s Army
June 10-July 7 Expedition to Rockville, Md.
June 18 Duty at Hagerstown and Funkstown, Goose Creek, Edward’s Ferry
June 22 At Frederick
