Members were from employes of the Navy Yard, Naval Ordnance Works, Rockett’s Navy Yard, and the Richmond & Danville Railroad. |
July | The battalion mustered around 300 men and was assigned to General G.W.C. Lee’s Brigade, Department of Richmond. |
