The 139th Ohio Infantry Regiment lost 14 enlisted men to disease during the Civil War.

	Organized at Camp Chase, Ohio. It was one of the “Hundred Days Men regiments” intended for short term rear echelon duties in the summer of 1864.
May 11	Mustered in under Colonel J. Lloyd Wayne, Jr.
May 20	Left State for Washington, D.C.
June 1	Moved to Point Lookout, Md. and assigned to duty there as Prison Guard
August 26	Mustered out
